Essentially a solo CD of blues classics written in the late 1920s with Billy on vocals and lots of slide guitar on his old strat and fingerpicking on his old Gibson acoustic.
NOTES
Billy Goodman is an American slide guitarist and singer/songwriter now living in Berlin, Germany. He worked with Jorma Kaukonen, Jefferson Starship, Dave Mason, and the Goodman Brothers featuring Steve Kimock.

Together with his brother Frank he received a four star review in the German Rolling Stone for the 1995 Goodman Brothers release "Crooked Smile".

He has three CDs on his own label (www.goodmanrecords.com) and two on the Taxim label.

Also, his version of "Billy the Kid" has been included on the BMG compilation "May Your Song Always Be Sung - the Songs of Bob Dylan Vol.3"

He continues the tradition of folk and blues, and his bottleneck slide guitar and expressive singing are his trademark.
